Congratulations to Professor Alice Chang, who was elected Doctor Honoris Causa of Pierre and Marie Curie University on November 13th! This degree is a mark of honorary distinction given to a scientist; it honors not only the scientific excellence of men and women, all of whom are involved in the advancement of science, but also their commitment to humanism and their contribution to the evolution of society as a whole.
