Andrei Pohoata '14 has been cited by the Mathematical Association of America for his work as a grader for the Mathematical Olympiad and for the two problems he submitted for the contest. The citation reads, "A primary purpose of the USAMO is to encourage young people to excellence in problem solving and encourage them to cintinue in mathematics as a career. Mr. Pohoata provides a wonderful role model as a mathematician who continues to be involved."
