Polymeric liquids are widely used in our daily life, from  liquid crystals to polymer additives for drag reduction.

Also,  mathematical modeling of them yields a variety of interesting  
mathematical problems. In this talk, I will introduce how people model  
them, and mathematical problems in this field.
