The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation recently announced the list of 2015 Sloan Research Fellows. Among those chosen are Princeton’s Vlad Vicol and Tasho Kaletha and Math graduate alumni Richard Bamler, Boris Bukh, Vivek Shende, Andrew Snowden, Jacob Tsimerman, Melanie Matchett Wood, and Hau-tieng Wu. Also chosed was Lin Lin, a PACM graduate alumnus.The Sloan Research Fellowships seek to stimulate fundamental research by early-career scientists and scholars of outstanding promise. They are awarded in recognition of distinguished performance and a unique potential to make substantial contributions to their field.
