The Simons Foundation has named Princeton professors June Huh and Assaf Naor as Simons Investigators in 2021. The Simons Investigators program provides a stable base of support for outstanding scientists, enabling them to undertake long-term study of fundamental questions. A Simons Investigator is appointed for an initial period of five years. To be an Investigator, a scientist must be engaged in theoretical research in mathematics, physics, astrophysics or computer science and must not previously have been a Simons Investigator.
