Dualisable objects have been studied in stable homotopy theory in various settings, for instance by Hovey and Strickland for the category of K(n)-local spectra. My talk will discuss some recent progress in understanding such dualisable objects in modular representation theory, including a characterisation in cohomological terms. This is a report on joint work with Dave Benson, Srikanth Iyengar, and Julia Pevtsova.
