Mingjia Zhang, Instructor at Princeton and a von Neumann Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study, and Anna Skorobogatova *24 have each been awarded a Maryam Mirzakhani New Frontiers Prize. Zhang was recognized “for contributions to the theory of Shimura varieties.” Skorobogatova was recognized "for contributions to geometric measure theory.”
The Maryam Mirzakhani New Frontiers Prize is an award for Early-Career Work from the Breakthrough Prize Foundation.
