Congratulations to Professor Shou-Wu Zhang for being named a 2016 Simons Fellow in Mathematics by the Simons Foundation. The fellows programs provide funds to faculty for up to a semester-long research leave from classroom teaching and administrative obligations with the goal of increasing creativity and providing intellectual stimulation.
