Naomi Sweeting, Postdoctoral Fellow, along with Yvonne Alama Bronsard and Agustina Czenky, received the ninth annual Association for Women in Mathematics Dissertation prize, which was presented at the Joint Prize Session at the 2025 Joint Mathematics Meetings in Seattle, WA.
The AWM Dissertation Prize, established in 2016, honors up to three outstanding Ph.D. dissertations presented by female mathematical scientists and defended during the 24 months preceding the deliberations for the award. It is intended to be based entirely on the dissertation itself, not on other work of the individual.
