his course is an introduction to the growth of groups. We will study how groups grow, how their growth affects other asymptotic invariants, and what information about the algebraic properties of groups one can expect to obtain from the growth functions and related invariants. 

We will discuss recent progress in this topic, as well as many challenging open questions.
