Talk 2:

It is a classical fact from the 19th century that there are infinitely many primes of the form $x^2 + ny^2$, for any fixed positive integer $n$. I will discuss a proof that, if $n$ is $0$ or $4$ mod $6$, then $x$ and $y$ can both be taken to be prime as well.

All three talks feature joint work with Mehtaab Sawhney.
