There has been considerable activity in establishing effective versions of equidistribution theorems in homogeneous dynamics in recent years. In this talk, we report on new results concerning effective equidistribution for one-parameter unipotent subgroups acting on S-rithmetic quotients of products of an arbitrary number of SL_2 factors.
