What's Happening in Fine Hall

We describe the 4-dimensional light bulb theorem and show how it is a prelude towards constructing diffeomorphisms of 4-manifolds and knotted 3-balls in the 4-sphere through the use of barbell implantation.  The latter is joint work with Ryan Budney.
