Went to the Asian Food Market today, and realized how much I love summer and cheap produce. It was a quick twenty-dollar shopping trip.
But the most impressive of all was the Cabbage! Napa cabbage was on sale at 19 cents per pound! The advertisements carefully notes that you save 20 cents per pound over the normal price. And Taiwanese cabbage was 39 cents per pound. Wheee!
Dinner was, therefore, Udon cooked in beef broth with napa cabbage, with pan-fried king prawns on the side.
