Homer Jacobson retired from teaching chemistry at Brooklyn College twenty years ago. On a whim, he googled himself. He was rather shocked to see that a paper that he wrote for the American Scientist in January of 1955 has been cited multiple times by creationist websites.

So he retracted it.
