Department of Mathematics

I am a graduate student in the mathematics department at Princeton University, expected to complete my Ph. D. in June of 2010. My advisor is Peter Sarnak. I am interested in number theory, specifically in the context of determining the arithmetic of the orbits of linear algebraic groups. More precisely, my research is motivated by a mix of questions in number theory and the geometry of groups acting on hyperbolic n-space.

You can find my CV here.

In the summer of 2009, I taught a course on Apollonian Circle Packings at SWIM. Some of my lecture notes and exploration topics can be found here.

If you would like to contact me about my work, I would be glad to hear from you -- my email is efuchs at math dot princeton dot edu.
