I got my Ph.D. under supervision of Gregory Margulis, from Yale university. He and Alex Lubotzky had a great influence on my mathematical work.

- Algebraic groups: Arithmetic lattices in semisimple groups.
- Homogeneous dynamical systems.
- Pro-p groups: p-adic analytic pro-p groups and Lie methods in pro-p groups.
- Non-commutative algebra: Division Algebras and Lie algebras.
