I got my Ph.D. under supervision of Gregory Margulis, from Yale university. He and Alex Lubotzky had a great influence on my mathematical work. I was a Veblen research instructor, from Sep 2006-Jun 2009, in the Mathematics department , Princeton University and Institute for Advanced Study.

- Currently I am organizing the Group Actions Seminar.
- Co-organizer of the special session on "Arithmetic and profinite groups" in the eastern sectional AMS meeting (With M. Kassabov and M. Ershov).
- Organizing the Group actions and automorphic forms seminar with Peter Sarnak.
- Organizing the Group Actions Seminar with Elon Lindenstrauss during Fall 2007, Spring 2008 and Fall 2009.

- Algebraic groups: Arithmetic lattices in semisimple groups.
- Homogeneous dynamical systems.
- Pro-p groups: p-adic analytic pro-p groups and Lie methods in pro-p groups.
- Non-commutative algebra: Division Algebras and Lie algebras.
