The results from the 2016 William Lowell Putnam competition are in, and we are proud to announce that Princeton's team of Rodrigo Angelo, Andre Arslan and Eric Schneider came in 3rd place. Individually, Senior Bumsoo Kim finished in the top 6, and Xiaoyu Xu was in the top 16. Andre Arslan and Zhuo Qun Song finished in the top 26, and Arka Adhikari, Rodrigo Angelo, Eric Neyman, Tim Ratigan, Eric Schneider, Mel Shu each received honorable mention.

Mathematics major Yuval Wigderson '16 has been awarded a 2015 Goldwater Scholarship by the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation.
The Foundation was established by the United States Congress in 1986 in honor of Senator Barry Goldwater to "provide a continuing source of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers..." This year 260 scholarship were awarded out of a pool 1,206 applicants.
This year's Sophomore Open House will be held this Thursday, April 9, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Fine Hall Common Room.

Students who did a Junior Seminar in the fall have two options in the spring: either another Junior Seminar, or a Junior Paper. Those who did a Junior Paper in the fall must sign up for a Junior Seminar in the spring.
