to Remote Logon
(How to use Telnet and VNC
to connect to the computers in
Fine Hall -- your monitor will
display what you'd see in Fine,
and you'll have access to all
the programs there; note:
there may be a problem getting
MAPLE to work)
Running
Matlab
Just remote logon, go to the
start menu (bottom left of the tool
bar). On my remote session it's
listed under Fine Hall
Applications, but I've
reconfigured my screen in the
Math Dept, so you may have it
somewhere else.
Running
Mathematica
Remember, only two people in
all of Fine can use at the same
time, so unless you already know
Mathematica, it's better to learn
Matlab.
